Paul Cook, drummer of The Sex pistols, the notorious British punk rock band wearing an ironic slur allegedly aimed at Richard Branson when he was the only label willing to sign them!
‘Never trust a hippie’ was the title of The Sex Pistols’ live album released in November and also featured as a lyric in their song ‘Who Killed Bambi?’ released in 1979 on The Great Rock ‘n’ Roll Swindle album. This album was a swipe aimed at their manager Malcolm McLaren who they believed ripped them off and who they later successfully sued.
