Vintage Style T-shirts
Worn by Siouxsie in 1984, the devil face depicted on this tee is taken from the 1964 film Onibaba. Inspired by a cautionary Buddhist fable this piece of iconic Japanese cinema tells the tale of two women corrupted by a demonic mask. The film was a favourite of Siouxsie’s growing up after seeing on BBC2. Since performing at the notorious 100 club punk festival with the Sex Pistols in 1976, Siouxsie has always been a pioneer of style and fashion, with her non-conformist attitude and self-styled kinky clothing. She’s become an icon of independence for nearly three generations and she hasn’t stopped yet!
